Trump wants a trade war with Canada and Mexico, with the emphasis on war. After accusations of cheating on tariffs, Trump will order troops to our northern and southern borders to oversee the operation. He will then declare martial law and suspend the 2026 midterm elections, which is his intermediate goal. He keeps dropping hints about a 3rd term. That's because he has no intention of leaving the White House on January 20, 2029.
It's a decent bet that Trump wakes up each morning and thinks: "What would Putin do?"

I think one of the best ways to spread the word on mmt is to ask people to watch the documentary "Finding the Money". But that's just a starting point. It requires courage and repetition to fight against the mainstream flood of orthodox economic nonsense. My 2 cents
tRump/Musk/Vance represent the psychopathic descent into depravity and sadistic harm to America by illegally dismantling govt agencies we have relied on to keep us safe and healthy. Our Nat'l security is in jeopardy based on the ruse that our "taxpayer money" is funding waste, fraud and abuse in govt. Nitwit, Musk, insists the govt will go "bankrupt" if this funding continues. "It simply is not sustainable." What a "genius"!!....and no one challenges him his outrageous falsehoods.
Like all fascist "leaders", their real goal, in their disdain for democracy and good govt, is to install themselves permanently into office so as to satisfy their sociopathic passion for power and money. They will play up their positions of power with irrational and contradictory reasonings to convince the gullible and like minded to their authority to impose these fascist ideologies for their own "good".
Let's hope the courts hold up and public outrage beats them at their game.

We really need our Free Press to expose Donald Trump for who he is calling Chuck Schumer, a Palestinian Should be all over the news. I would hope that at some point the Free Press would stand up and put this guy in his place. He is not above the law.

Canada has 40 million people, we have 340 million. Of course we'll spend more on Canadian goods than Canada spends on US goods. If we get a billion in goods for a billion spent, there's no trade deficit!
