This graduate of economics was recently recently interviewed talking about govt waste and that we should take advantage of this "once in lifetime deregulation and reduction in the size of our govt in America, going BANKRUPT very quickly. To our debt, we are adding trillions of dollars every day that our kids and grandkids are going to have to pay somehow every month. So we have to reduce our spending." Did he fall asleep in class when the professor told him that the Federal Reserve creates money and therefore can't go bankrupt?
I just purchased and watched “Finding the Money” on Apple TV+ — well worth the $13! But I have lots of questions. Is there a forum where I can ask them?
I like to get enriched with this basic economical know how (in germany the basic discussion about the money system is occupied by the bitcoiners - austrian economic school- not by the MMT-ideas, that’s just my individual impression) …!!! Thank you very much for this film.!!!
What I am missing is a more detailed reflection of the question: Why tax paying….?
What are the 1,2,3 or 4 main reasons? Why tax paying, if there are still enough resources not at work…..
