I see 24 comments from Nov 5 to Nov 10. Yours from Nov 10 is the last one so far. I don’t see any from dr. Kelton, yet. I’m using my iPhone to write this comment.
Let's act, not argue. Please sign the petition and make a monthly call to your 2 senators and 1 Congressional representative using the Jobs Guarantee hotline, 1-(888)-697-7317. Tell them, or their staff members:
“Hi, I’d like to see Congress pass a federal jobs guarantee. It would bring a lot of money into our state/congressional district and bring a lot of votes for any politician who supports it. It would also raise almost everyone around here out of poverty. Not to mention that it would create a lot of new consumers and be great for business.”
Thanks for trying so hard, Peter, Paul. Maybe the fact that I was signed in to my Change.org account prevented the "sign" box from coming up. I've logged out now. Also, there's no need to donate money. It goes to Change.org, not to me.
According to Warren Mosler, yes. Interest payments are government spending and, as such, they put upward pressure on prices. see this interview "Mosler what do central banks do?"
Mosler's opinion (if i remember correctly, I could have this partly wrong) is that raising interest rates PROBABLY do contribute to inflation because those in debt then have to raise their own prices (business) or demand higher wages (workers).
That is until things get so bad that spending collapses, and recession, when interest rate rises do put inflation down.
Not sure what he has said about "Supply Side Progressivism" as a long term solution to inflation, but my guess is he would approve.
Why is it that Biden takes credit for a lower deficit? Does he not understand what that means? All of the children who came out of poverty and are going back in now are part of what he is bragging about. Why?
No, those are her comments on her post. The chat feature is an App-Only feature from what I understand. I have other Substack subscriptions that have chat enabled and I can see and join those chats just fine. For this one. It says no chat has started or something to that effect
App(le)-first features like this are inequitable and frustrating. There's no reason this couldn't have a web front end that could be usable on desktop and mobile alike.

My guess is she’s busy.
So do u know how long b4 chat on android will happen?
Not that I have anything intelligent to contribute, but all I get is a blank page. And a guy named Roger’s comment.
Not seeing The Lens in chat. I’ll keep trying next week.
Please sign the petition Tell Congress, "Pass a Federal Jobs Guarantee" on change.org. Link below:

Thanks!
Why don't we petition them to "Care for Your Own Citizens" first?
They'll never do the other until they do this.

Do I need an account to sign the petition?
Nope thank you.
Copy. I'll give it another try.

Peter Paul, thanks for signing the petition!
Hi D
As instructed - hi
Hi
So are rising interest payments on debt helping to fuel inflation?
According to Warren Mosler, yes. Interest payments are government spending and, as such, they put upward pressure on prices. see this interview "Mosler what do central banks do?"

Should I get the app now, even though I have an Android, and wait for the chat function to show up later?
All of us Android users are waiting.

Look forward to joining in when implemented on android.

Also, somehow substack works on my computer, a Dell PC. So Android users might be able to join on their computers. I'm not sure.

Hi Dr. Kelton. Thanks for the deficit myth.
Hi, I look forward to this chat as way of increasing my knowledge.
