This newsletter uses The Lens of MMT to describe and analyze the macro economy. As a framework for analysis, MMT helps us to see through many of the myths and misunderstandings—about money, taxes, interest rates, inflation, unemployment, debt, and deficits—that have hamstrung policymakers the world over.
Over the years, MMT scholars have published a great many books. There have been textbooks intended for classroom use as well as bestsellers that succeeded in reaching a broader audience.
We never stop trying to expand our audience. This month, a new book is out. It’s written by one of MMT’s most prominent economists, L. Randall Wray. It’s a great entry point into MMT as well as a valuable addition to your existing library.
Thank you for the recommendation. I have already ordered it and I'm on a waiting list. I have no doubt it will be an excellent read.
Thanks for the heads up about Randy Wray's new book. Just pre-ordered it. Randy is one of my heroes. His econ textbook is a masterpiece. The guy is scary smart.
